I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. Unfortunately I did not have my children, so I did the next best thing and went grocery shopping and prepared a full course Easter dinner just for me, myself and I. I'll celebrate with my children a little late, which is far better than not at all. Since my divorce and since the loss of my father, I really don't much look forward to the holidays anymore. Someday I hope this changes for me, but as of now in my life, holidays simply bring on sadness and are a reminder of what once was.

Of course while posting these I searched high and low for pictures of my daughter when she was little sitting with the Easter Bunny and do you think I could find one? NO! I'm sure they will turn up when I'm not looking for them. Isn't that always the way. Stay tuned for a more recent pic of my children celebrating Easter. <3
